Mykingbrøtrunden (6,5 km) is a gravel round trip at Myking in Nesbyen, almost 1000 meters above sea level. Suitable both on foot and by bike.
Garnåsrunden (48 km) is a round trip over the hill “Flatdalsåsen”, for those who do not fear uphill climbing. From the bottom of the valley you climb up to 850 meters above sea level. From here, you follow gravel roads over the hill before you get an equally long downhill at the other end.
Hallingdalsruta (66 km) (the Hallingdal route) is a popular bicycle route between the towns of Geilo in the west and Nesbyen in the east. One popular approach is to take the train (remember to book bike storage) from Nesbyen to Geilo and ride back. You mostly follow low-traffic gravel and asphalt roads. Plenty of opportunities for eating, activities and accommodation along the way.
Round trip through Eastern Nes and Gol (80 km) is a tough bicycle tour following gravel roads through the mountain areas east of Nesbyen and Gol. We suggest a lunch break by the beautiful lake “Buvatnet”.
