Getting to Nesbyen
By car, bus or train.

By car or bus:
- If you choose to go by car from Oslo, Follow E16 to Hønefoss, then RV7 towards Nesbyen. Travel times is around 2 hours and 30 minutes. From Bergen, drive to Eidfjord, across Hardangervidda, via Geilo to Nesbyen on RV7. The journey takes around 4 hours.
- There are daily bus departures from Oslo to Nesbyen. The bus stop is located centrally by the Shell (petrol station) in the Nesbyen town centre, approximately 500 metres from the railway station.
- From Oslo airport Gardermoen, you can go by express train or express bus to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), and from there continue the journey to Nesbyen by train or bus.
- Vy, the Norwegian State Railways, offers daily train departures to Nesbyen. From Oslo, travel time is around 2 hours and 30 minutes, and from Bergen, the journey takes around four hours. Tickets are booket av vy.no.
